The Week Ahead: NIST convenes second workshop to review potential cybersecurity framework updates

The National Institute of Standards and Technology holds it second workshop on Wednesday to gather feedback on updating the cybersecurity framework, with speakers from NIST, the Commerce Department, CISA and industry stakeholders.

The virtual workshop follows the release of a concept paper highlighting major changes under consideration for CSF 2.0 and NIST will hold two in-person “working sessions” next week to gather additional stakeholder feedback. The agency held its first CSF 2.0 workshop in August.
