The Week Ahead: House Homeland conducts field hearing on ransomware; NIST officials discuss zero trust

A House Homeland Security panel holds a field hearing on ransomware featuring DHS officials and Michigan state government leaders, while NIST’s Alper Kerman and Scott Rose provide an update on the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence’s zero trust architecture project.

The Homeland Security intelligence and counterterrorism subcommittee is holding the Tuesday hearing, “Combating Ransomware: From Our Small Towns in Michigan to DC,” in East Lansing, MI, in the district of subcommittee Chairwoman Elissa Slotkin (D-MI).
