Water utilities advance cybersecurity guide with backing from DHS grant

Water utility officials are working with the Department of Homeland Security to develop additional tools and resources to help promote the adoption of cybersecurity guidance across the entire sector, according to an industry source.

An industry source told Inside Cybersecurity that the sector is developing resources to support use of the American Water Works Association’s cybersecurity guidance under an award from the Department of Homeland Security’s National Infrastructure Protection Plan Security and Resilience Challenge.
