U.S. Chamber officials list IoT framework among cyber policy priorities for 2018

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce will continue pushing for industry-led talks on developing a federal framework for managing risks amid what is expected to be explosive growth in Internet of Things products, among other cyber-related policy priorities for the business community in the upcoming year.

Those IoT talks should be hosted by the Department of Commerce, with input from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the process should be similar to...
