U.S. Chamber: It’s too early for AI regulation, beyond possible federal privacy protections

A U.S. Chamber of Commerce official put in a pitch for passing a federal privacy law during a House Science hearing on risks associated with artificial intelligence, but argued that other aspects of the technology are best addressed through voluntary frameworks.
