U.S. Chamber: Adjust continuity-of-economy provision, reject threat hunting mandate in defense bill

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has sent a letter to congressional negotiators on a major defense policy bill asking for changes in the final version of the legislation that take into consideration the “convergence” of technology systems and the complex issues behind creating government-led threat hunting program for the defense industry.

The letter addresses several recommendations from the Cyberspace Solarium Commission’s landmark report that made it into the House and Senate versions of the fiscal 2021 National Defense Authorization Act....
