Trump's fiscal 2021 budget plan touts expanded cybersecurity activities at DHS

President Trump's proposed $4.8 trillion budget for fiscal 2021 touts expanded cybersecurity operations at DHS, with increased spending at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to lead a government-wide cyber workforce effort.

“The Department continues to play a major role in securing and building cybersecurity resilience for the Nation’s most critical infrastructure, including Government networks,” says the White House Office of Management and Budget proposal issued Monday.

Overall, DHS would get a slight funding boost mostly for non-cyber activities,...
