Trump extends for one year Obama order on sanctions for malicious cyber attacks

President Trump has extended for a year economic sanctions put in place by the Obama administration for malicious cyber attacks, including Russian hacking of the 2016 election.

The sanctions were initially laid out by President Obama in a 2015 executive order, and were extended late last year to include cyber activities by the Russian government to influence the presidential election.
