Trump 2019 budget maintains core DHS funding for federal network security, amid some cuts

President Trump’s budget request for fiscal 2019 largely maintains current Department of Homeland Security funding levels for securing federal networks from cybersecurity threats, even while making a large cut to the topline funding figure and designating additional funding at the Defense Department and the Energy Department to boost cyber defenses.
