Thune ‘working through’ holds blocking floor vote on Senate self-driving car bill

Senate Commerce Chairman John Thune (R-SD), a sponsor of the bipartisan AV START Act creating security and safety standards for self-driving cars, is continuing to “work through” three Democratic holds on the bill and is optimistic about “resolving” at least two of the issues.
