Threats from China, 5G development top the agenda for upcoming regulatory action

Trump administration officials are offering indications on how they plan to address cybersecurity risks from China, as part of upcoming regulatory actions for banning U.S. purchases from Huawei and other China-based tech firms in building out the nation's next-generation 5G networks, amid heightened trade tensions between Washington and Beijing that could come to a head next month.
