Telecommunications industry urges FCC to wait for DHS in crafting supply-chain initiative

A major telecommunications group and smaller rural providers agree the Federal Communications Commission should await further work by the Department of Homeland Security before proceeding with a proposed FCC rule to mitigate supply-chain security risks, though they appear split on the scope of potential future regulation.
