Telecom groups push against FCC cyber declaratory ruling issued in response to Salt Typhoon

Two major telecom groups identified a January declaratory ruling directing carriers to secure their networks as a broad interpretation of the Federal Communications Commission’s regulatory authorities, in response to a request from Chairman Brendan Carr to get input on identifying regulations imposing “unnecessary burdens” that could be eliminated.
