Telecom groups call for narrowing scope of questions in FCC foreign ownership reviews

USTelecom is urging the Federal Communications Commission to streamline its process for reviewing applications from companies with foreign ownership that wish to participate in the U.S. telecom market but first must undergo new scrutiny on security issues.
