Telecom advisory panel considers recommendations to boost U.S. international standards participation

A presidential telecom advisory committee is offering several recommendations on how the government can partner with industry to boost U.S. participation in crafting international standards in the tech and telecom sectors.

The National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee votes May 24 on a letter to the president on enhancing U.S. leadership in standards development for the information and communications technology sectors.
