Tech groups cite data security as key element of any WTO deal on e-commerce

The Information and Technology Industry Council and 26 other U.S. and international tech groups are calling on World Trade Organization negotiators to ensure that a global e-commerce pact includes strong data security language and a collaborative approach to cybersecurity that promotes best practices.
