Tech group offers ways to expand utility of NIST cybersecurity framework through creating crosswalks, more mappings
Updating the NIST cybersecurity framework should involve mappings to other foundational publications and encourage leveraging international standards, according to the Information Technology Industry Council.
ITI submitted comments last week on NIST’s CSF 2.0 concept paper, highlighting feedback in its response to a 2022 NIST request for information and details on recent publications focused on supply chain and artificial intelligence released since the last framework update in 2018.
