Supporters of incident reporting legislation see reasons for optimism on action this year

Bipartisan expressions of support are rekindling optimism that cyber incident reporting legislation could move this year, as key lawmakers say they are pushing for action and federal cybersecurity officials reiterate that such a mandate is essential for securing critical infrastructure amid threats such as the Log4j vulnerability.
