State officials urge Trump administration to drop critical designation for elections

The National Association of Secretaries of State has adopted a bipartisan resolution opposing the Department of Homeland Security's designation of election systems as critical infrastructure, while standing up a new cybersecurity task force to address cyber risks to voting systems.
