Stakeholders propose harmonization assurance requirement in developing new cyber regulations

The Office of Management and Budget should require proposed cybersecurity regulations from agencies to include a filing that assures a lack of conflict or duplication of existing rules as part of the regular review process, according to three industry groups.

The groups responded to a request for information from the Office of the National Cyber Director on regulatory harmonization in separate comment submissions.
