Stakeholders: Combatting ransomware requires increased public-private coordination, more reporting

The Colonial Pipeline and JBS Foods attacks in 2021 heightened public awareness of ransomware and now more work is needed, especially in areas like eliminating safe havens for cyber criminals and helping small businesses fend off attacks, according to a panel of senior policymakers at the RSA conference.
