Stakeholders begin poring over EU cyber proposal spelling out responsibilities for manufacturers

A former State Department cyber leader says the European Union’s proposed Cyber Resilience Act will likely set a benchmark for industry requirements globally and underscores the need for U.S. leadership, while a leading tech group says the proposal covering a broad array of connected devices provides a chance to examine cybersecurity rules in a harmonized manner.
