Solarium Commission group calls for HHS to develop long-term cyber strategy for health sector

The Department of Health and Human Services should take on efforts to develop a long-term strategy to prevent ransomware and nation-state attacks impacting the health sector, according to a new paper from the latest iteration of the Cyberspace Solarium Commission.

“Healthcare providers’ resiliency to cyberattacks is essential for the continuity of public health services,” the paper says.
