Solarium co-chair King: Federal, state collaboration helped deter adversaries from attacking election infrastructure

The absence of cyber attacks on Election Day is showing the work done by CISA in partnership with state and local election officials has significantly improved the resiliency of the election process, according to Cyberspace Solarium Commission co-chair Sen. Angus King (I-ME).

However, King also cautioned there needs to be a long-term study to determine all of the impacts to the election and if the deterrence strategies deployed by states and their federal partnered were successful in the long run....
