Software group flags concerns over scope, effectiveness of ICT supply-chain proposal

A major group representing software makers is raising extensive concerns over the Commerce Department's proposed rule on information and communications technology supply chain security, which would implement President Trump's May 15 executive order by setting the criteria for banning ICT imports from “foreign adversaries.”
