Software group calls for collaboration on memory safety in response to ONCD software security report

BSA-The Software Alliance is advocating for a collaborative approach to address building memory safety into software and critical systems, following the release of a report by the Office of the National Cyber Director outlining two new strategic approaches for software security.

"The strategic adoption of memory-safe programming languages is an opportunity to improve software security – one which requires action by the government, software producers and customers, and the open-source software community,” BSA senior director of policy Henry Young said...
