'SMART' bill hearing to examine industrial as well as consumer IoT issues

Witnesses testifying before a House panel today will emphasize a distinction between “consumer-facing” and “industrial” devices in the Internet of Things, and recommend diverging approaches for legislation tackling the cybersecurity challenge presented by an increasingly connected internet ecosystem.
