Small business leaders cite hurdles from new cyber rules for government contractors

New cybersecurity requirements for government contractors are hindering smaller entities hoping to compete for government business, a panel of small business representatives told lawmakers Wednesday, arguing that government is overlooking innovative solutions found in the tech startup community to address cyber issues as a result.
