Senior administration official: NTIA will lead on president's supply-chain order at Commerce

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration will lead the implementation of an executive order to mitigate risks to the supply chain of Information and Communication Technology associated with foreign adversaries, a senior administration official confirmed to Inside Cybersecurity today.

“NTIA is responsible, by law, for advising the President on telecommunications and information policy issues, so they will be the lead implementation agency, on behalf of Commerce, for the Supply Chain EO,” the official said.
