Senators urge energy regulator collaboration with others on Huawei threat, amid concern over limited authority

A bipartisan group of senators, led by James Risch (R-ID) and Angus King (I-ME), offered praise for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission establishing a new cybersecurity division, but are stressing that the commission must be alert to threats posed by Chinese equipment manufacturer Huawei and the importance of collaborating with other entities.
