Senators explore actions related to Chinese drone manufacturer, raising Huawei-like cyber concerns

The U.S. would reap privacy and cybersecurity benefits from a cautious regulatory approach to the development of drones, according to witnesses at a Tuesday Senate hearing, which took on a familiar dynamic as dominance of Chinese manufacturers stoked bipartisan cyber-related fears.
