Senate Rules leaders plan markup ‘soon’ of Secure Elections Act; House remains divided

Senate Rules Committee leaders said Thursday they are planning to mark up the Secure Elections Act “soon,” while House Democrats and Republicans remain almost completely divided on steps to take to address election security in the wake of President Trump’s comments this week about Russian election hacking.
