Senate passage of ‘competition act’ tees up House action on DHS, Commerce Dept.-related cyber elements

Senate passage this week of the Innovation and Competition Act will require corresponding action in the House on legislation to create a cyber incident recovery program at the Department of Homeland Security, as well as on cyber-related initiatives at the Commerce Department, and technology and other programs sprinkled throughout the executive branch.
