Senate DHS reauthorization plan includes 'bug bounty' program, blockchain threat assessment

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee approved first-time reauthorization legislation for the Department of Homeland Security that includes a number of amendments, among them requirements that the department develop a “bug bounty” program and assess the risks of the government's use of blockchain technology.
