Senate Commerce panel discusses AI policy needs, including calls for privacy law
Lawmakers and witnesses alike agreed on the need for a federal privacy law as a cornerstone of the nation’s AI policy architecture, at a Tuesday Senate Commerce subcommittee hearing that delved into cybersecurity among a broad range of issues raised by artificial intelligence.
