Senate clears bills on cyber assistance to state and local governments, federal workforce training

Legislation by Homeland Security Chairman Gary Peters (D-MI) and ranking member Rob Portman (R-OH) to strengthen ties on cybersecurity between DHS and state and local governments has been unanimously approved by the Senate and now awaits action in the House.
