Senate bill spinning out of Facebook hearings could affect breach-notice debate

A bill coming from Sens. John Kennedy (R-LA) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) is aimed at consumer privacy issues raised at this week's Facebook hearings, but it could also factor into the long-running data security and breach notification debate by including a 72-hour notice requirement.
