Senate approves handful of amendments to NDAA, including Cyber Solarium recommendations

The Senate last week began plowing through amendments to the annual defense policy bill, approving proposals on “continuity of economy” and strengthening the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency that were recommended by the Cyberspace Solarium Commission, and one by Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS) on the cyber workforce.

After days of procedural haggling, senators on Thursday approved by unanimous consent over 60 amendments -- including cyber provisions -- en bloc before departing for the two-week July Fourth recess.
