Sen. Wicker announces new cyber-focused panel, unveils Commerce Committee reorganization

New Senate Commerce Chairman Roger Wicker (R-MS) today announced the “reconfiguration” of his panel's subcommittees, including the creation of a new one on security, and announced the full roster of subcommittee chairs.

The Senate Commerce security subcommittee, to be chaired by Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK), will focus on cybersecurity and digital network security issues, with jurisdiction as well over the Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration.
