Sen. Vance, Trump’s pick for VP nominee, supports rollback of SEC cyber incident disclosure rule, raised concerns over Volt Typhoon

Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), presumptive running mate for former President Trump’s second term, has expressed an interest in cybersecurity issues during his short time in the Senate through supporting legislation to roll back a controversial Securities and Exchange Commission rule and expressing concerns over Volt Typhoon.
