Sen. Portman stresses desire to pass FISMA reform, FedRAMP bills as work begins on fiscal 2023 NDAA

Senate Homeland Security ranking member Rob Portman (R-OH) wants to see reforms to the Federal Information Security Management Act and the General Services Administration’s FedRAMP program get across the finish line this year.

The Senate passed a legislative package in March that included bills to reform FISMA, codify FedRAMP and create a mandatory cyber incident reporting regime.
