Sen. Johnson plans to separate cyber-agency bill out of DHS reauthorization, ‘hotline’ it through Senate

Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Chairman Ron Johnson (R-WI) plans to lift language on creating a cyber agency at the Department of Homeland Security from a broader DHS reauthorization bill, and will try to “hotline” it through the Senate, House Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) told Inside Cybersecurity today.
