Sen. Crapo: Confirmation of CFIUS head will help stem China’s 'coercive influence' on emerging tech

The Senate on Wednesday moved toward confirming President Trump’s nominee to lead the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, which Senate Banking Chairman Mike Crapo (R-ID) said will advance efforts to guard against Chinese threats to national security.
