Secure Elections Act sponsors say bill is 'moving,' but its destination remains uncertain

The future of the bipartisan Secure Elections Act remains unclear, as its Senate sponsors insist the bill is “moving” and Rules Committee members say they continue to discuss ways to improve it -- a week after the indefinite postponement of a markup seemed to doom the measure for the year.

“I don’t know yet, it’s moving, but I don’t know when,” Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), the key Republican sponsor of the Secure Elections Act, told Inside Cybersecurity on Tuesday.
