Samsung to announce cybersecurity requirements for third-party IoT devices on its cloud system

Samsung Electronics will “soon” announce cybersecurity requirements for third-party Internet of Things devices using the company’s “Smart Things” cloud program, a development that Samsung senior vice president John Godfrey said Thursday will help “move behavior” in securing IoT devices.
