Rinaldo: Open RAN Policy Coalition aims to reach supply chain ‘consensus’

A new advocacy organization led by a former top Commerce Department official is bringing major telecom and software providers and vendors together to develop and spread a “consensus” message to lawmakers and agencies involved in supply chain activities on the adoption of open and interoperable solutions in the Radio Access Network space.

The Open RAN Policy Coalition is “going to be a consensus-based organization” that will “ensure broad coalition supports,” Diane Rinaldo, executive director of the coalition, told Inside Cybersecurity....
