Reports from NIST identify cybersecurity baseline, ‘foundational’ activities for IoT device makers

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has released two guidances on cybersecurity for Internet of Things devices, framing the action as a key step under the botnet report and roadmap issued by the Commerce and Homeland Security departments in 2018, in answer to President Trump’s executive order on cyber the previous year.
