Rep. Schiff: Intelligence panel hearing to examine AI's role in combating 'deep fakes'

House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) has set a hearing to study the role of artificial intelligence in both creating and countering “deep fakes,” the computer manipulation of video or audio content for political or other malicious purposes.
