Rep. Langevin, small-business advisor, applaud DoD’s coming contracting rules, note risk-measurement benefits

A key member of Congress praised the Defense Department’s plan for upping the cybersecurity of military contractors as a move toward solving one of the most frustrating challenges in cyber policy -- a lack of metrics -- while a cyber advisor to small businesses encouraged the removal of any “roadblocks” facing the proposal.
