Redl touts NTIA activity in effort to resolve GDPR issue over access to sensitive data

National Telecommunications and Information Administration chief David Redl is touting his agency’s engagement with the organization that manages collection of domain registry information as critical for resolving a major sore point for U.S. government officials over the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation: access to WHOIS data.
